clubliteratur
We are bringing the established Bern-based format «clubliteratur» back to the festival, originally created at SOSO.space. This event combines literature and club culture in a two-part evening: the first part offers a literary journey with readings and/or spoken-word performances, while the second part transitions into a more club-like, musical atmosphere. The performances complement each other through different themes, volumes, and modes of expression, creating a unique fusion of language, music, and performance art. Clubliteratur gives a stage to people experiencing multiple forms of marginalization, telling migrant stories, or living queer lives.
For the literary part, we are excited to welcome author Enrico Ippolito.
Enrico Ippolito is a writer, journalist, and co-editor of «Delfi. Magazin für neue Literatur». His debut novel «Was rot war» was published in 2021 and was nominated for the Rauriser Literature Prize. He has also published several short stories, and his second novel «Modesta» (Korbinian Verlag) is on the longlist for the 2026 German Pop Literature Prize. He currently lives in Berlin and brings a wide range of perspectives to the stage.
XHER is the first solo project by the Polish-Ecuadorian artist and musician Veru Loremipsum. Combining Post-Punk, Pop-Punk, and electronic Hyper Pop elements, XHER delivers a distinct “Hyper-Rock” sound. With a background in the VisualArts, Veru’s music is shaped by audio-visual influences and explores themes of identity, heartbreak, resilience, and punk culture.
Easy Read
«clubliteratur» combines literature and (club) music in one evening. People tell stories, read texts, and perform, and later the night becomes musical and danceable.
